This patch updates the mksunxiboot tool to optionally add
the default device tree name string to the SPL header. This
information can be used by the firmware upgrade tools to
protect users from harming themselves by trying to upgrade
to an incompatible bootloader.
The primary use case here is a non-removable bootable media
(such as NAND, eMMC or SPI flash), which already may have
a properly working, but a little bit outdated bootloader
installed. For example, the user may download or build a
new U-Boot image for "Cubieboard", and then attemept to
install it on a "Cubieboard2" hardware by mistake as a
replacement for the already existing bootloader. If this
happens, the flash programming tool can identify this
problem and warn the user.
The size of the SPL header is also increased from 64 bytes
to 96 bytes to provide enough space for the device tree name
string.

The Allwinner SoCs with 64-bit cores use an ARM Trusted Firmware binary,
which needs to be loaded alongside U-Boot proper.
Set the respective Kconfig options to let them select this feature and
also automatically build the FIT image.

The SPL stack is usually located at the end of SRAM A1, where it grows
towards the end of the SPL.
For the really big AArch64 binaries the stack overwrites code pretty
soon, so move the SPL stack to the end of SRAM A2, which is unused at this
time.

This commit adds support for DM I2C on sunxi platform. It can coexist
with old style sunxi I2C driver, because it is still used in SPL and
by some SoCs.
Because sunxi platform doesn't yet support DM clk, reset and pinctrl
driver, workaround is needed to enable clocks and set resets and
pinctrls. This is done by calling i2c_init_board() in board_init().
This means that CONFIG_I2Cx_ENABLE options needs to be correctly set
in order to use needed I2C controller.

Currently $fdtfile is constructed from CONFIG_DEFAULT_TREE, containing
the filename. However on arm64 that file is located in an allwinner
subdirectory.
To avoid the need for users/distros symlinking the .dtb files, prepend
the vendor directory for ARM64.
This aligns Pine64 with other boards such as Raspberry Pi 3.

Basic U-Boot support is now present for V3s.
Some memory addresses are changed specially for V3s, as the original
address map cannot fit into a so small DRAM.
As the DRAM controller code needs a big refactor, the SPL support is
disabled in this version.

On boards that defines ENV_IS_NOWHERE, such as the NES classic, commit
19dbe7d1a3f7 ("common: Move environment choice to Kconfig") broke the build
because of a missing environment size.
Reintroduce a default environment size consistent with what we had before.

The environment location is something that might change per board
(depending on what storage options are availaible there) or depending on
the user choice (when we have several options).
Instead of hardcoding it in our configuration header, create a Kconfig
choice with the options we use for now, and the symbols that depend on it.
Once done, also remove the irrelevant sunxi defines.

With d53ecad92f some unused interrupt related code was removed.
However all of these options are currently unused. Rather than migrate
some of these options to Kconfig we just remove the code in question.
The only related code changes here are that in some cases we use
CONFIG_STACKSIZE in non-IRQ related context. In these cases we rename
and move the value local to the code in question.

Traditionally Allwinner SoCs have their boot ROM mapped just below 4GB,
while the first SRAM region is mapped at address 0.
With the extended physical memory support of the A80 this was changed,
so the BROM is now at address 0 and the SRAM region starts right behind
this at 64KB. This configuration seems to be called "high SRAM".
Instead of enumerating the SoCs which have copied this configuration,
let's call a spade a spade and introduce a Kconfig option for this setup.
SoCs implementing this (A80, A64 and H5, so far), can then select this
configuration.
Simplify the config header definition on the way.

For some reason we were pretty conservative when defining the maximum
SPL size for the Allwinner A80(sun9i) SoC.
According to the manual the SRAM A1 is even 40KB, but the BROM
probably still has the 32 KiB load limit. For the sake of simplicity,
merge the SPL memory definitions for the A64 and A80 SoCs, since both
SoC share the BROM/SRAM A1 memory layout.
This helps to further simplify this is in the next patch.

Many ARMv8 boards define a constant COUNTER_FREQUENCY to specify the
frequency of the ARM Generic Timer (aka. arch timer).
ARMv7 boards traditionally used CONFIG_TIMER_CLK_FREQ for the same
purpose. It seems useful to unify them.
Since there are less occurences of the latter version, lets convert all
users over to COUNTER_FREQUENCY.

Today, we have cases where we wish to build all of U-Boot in Thumb2 mode for
various reasons. We also have cases where we only build SPL in Thumb2 mode due
to size constraints and wish to build the rest of the system in ARM mode. So
in this migration we introduce a new symbol as well, SPL_SYS_THUMB_BUILD to
control if we build everything or just SPL (or in theory, just U-Boot) in
Thumb2 mode.

We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is
not completed. Finish this work by the tool.
During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH.
Actually, we have more instances of "#ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH"
than those of "#ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH". Flipping the logic will
make the code more readable. Besides, negative meaning symbols do
not fit in obj-$(CONFIG_...) style Makefiles.

Now, CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC seems equivalent to CONFIG_MMC.
Let's create an entry for "config GENERIC_MMC" with "default MMC",
then convert all macro defines in headers to Kconfig. Almost all
of the defines will go away.
I see only two exceptions:
configs/blanche_defconfig
configs/sandbox_noblk_defconfig
They define CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC, but not CONFIG_MMC. Something
might be wrong with these two boards, so should be checked later.
Anyway, this is the output of the moveconfig tool.

Now that the SPL is ready to be compiled in AArch64 and the DRAM
init code is ready, enable SPL support for the A64 SoC and in the
Pine64 defconfig.
For now we keep the boot0 header in the U-Boot proper, as this allows
to still use boot0 as an SPL replacement without hurting the SPL use
case.
We disable FEL support for now by making its compilation conditional
and disabling it for ARM64, as the code isn't ready yet.

The predominantely 32-bit ARM targets try to compile the SPL in Thumb
mode to reduce code size.
The 64-bit AArch64 instruction set does not know an alternative, concise
encoding, so the Thumb build option should only be set for 32-bit
targets.
Likewise -marm machine options are only valid for ARMv7 targets.

Introduce a hidden USB_FUNCTION_DFU Kconfig option and select it for
CMD_DFU (as we must have the DFU command enabled to do anything DFU).
Make all of the entries in drivers/dfu/Kconfig depend on CMD_DFU and add
options for all of the back end choices that DFU can make use of.

This commit moved the SPL stack into SRAM C, which worked when the SPL
set the AHB1 clock down to 100 MHz to cope with the flaky SRAM C access
from the CPU.
However booting with boot0 (and thus not using SPL at all) we still run
with a 200 MHz AHB1, so any access to SRAM C is prone to fail.
Since this commit does _not_ only affect the SPL code, but also the
U-Boot proper, we fail when booting with boot0.
As the introduction of tiny-printf reduced the size of the SPL, we
can afford to have the SPL stack in SRAM A1.
This reverts commit 1a83fb4a17
and fixes booting the Pine64 when using boot0.

This series moves the CONFIG_SYS_CACHELINE_SIZE. First, in nearly all
cases we are mirroring the values used by the Linux Kernel here. Also,
so long as (and in this case, it is true) we implement flushes in hunks
that are no larger than the smallest implementation (and given that we
mirror the Linux Kernel, again we are fine) it is OK to align higher.
The biggest changes here are that we always use 64 bytes for CPU_V7 even
if for example the underlying core is only 32 bytes (this mirrors
Linux). Second, we say ARM64 uses 64 bytes not 128 (as found in the
Linux Kernel) as we do not need multi-platform support (to this degree)
and only the Cavium ThunderX 88xx series has a use for such large
alignment.

Allwinner devices support SPI flash as one of the possible
bootable media type. The SPI flash chip needs to be connected
to SPI0 pins (port C) to make this work. More information is
available at:

This patch adds the initial support for booting from SPI flash.
The existing SPI frameworks are not used in order to reduce the
SPL code size. Right now the SPL size grows by ~370 bytes when
CONFIG_SPL_SPI_SUNXI option is enabled.
While there are no popular Allwinner devices with SPI flash at
the moment, testing can be done using a SPI flash module (it
can be bought for ~2$ on ebay) and jumper wires with the boards,
which expose relevant pins on the expansion header. The SPI flash
chips themselves are very cheap (some prices are even listed as
low as 4 cents) and should not cost much if somebody decides to
design a development board with an SPI flash chip soldered on
the PCB.
Another nice feature of the SPI flash is that it can be safely
accessed in a device-independent way (since we know that the
boot ROM is already probing these pins during the boot time).
And if, for example, Olimex boards opted to use SPI flash instead
of EEPROM, then they would have been able to have U-Boot installed
in the SPI flash now and boot the rest of the system from the SATA
hard drive. Hopefully we may see new interesting Allwinner based
development boards in the future, now that the software support
for the SPI flash is in a better shape :-)
Testing can be done by enabling the CONFIG_SPL_SPI_SUNXI option
in a board defconfig, then building U-Boot and finally flashing
the resulting u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin binary over USB OTG with
a help of the sunxi-fel tool:
sunxi-fel spiflash-write 0 u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin
The device needs to be switched into FEL (USB recovery) mode first.
The most suitable boards for testing are Orange Pi PC and Pine64.
Because these boards are cheap, have no built-in NAND/eMMC and
expose SPI0 pins on the Raspberry Pi compatible expansion header.
The A13-OLinuXino-Micro board also can be used.

Since the SRAM C corruption issue is now resolved on Allwinner
A64, it is possible to move the stack top to the address 0x1A000
on both A64 and A80. The boot ROM can load SPL binaries with
up to 32 KiB size on A64 (the 24 KiB SPL size limitation only
affects A10/A20), and this patch also ensures the availability
of 8 KiB stack.

As arm64 has slightly different expectations about load addresses, lets
use a different set of default addresses for things like the kernel.
As arm64 kernels don't come with a decompressor right now, reserve some
more space for really big uncompressed kernels.

The current SPL header, created by the 'mksunxiboot' tool, has size
32 bytes. But the code in the boot ROM stores the information about
the boot media at the offset 0x28 before passing control to the SPL.
For example, when booting from the SD card, the magic number written
by the boot ROM is 0. And when booting from the SPI flash, the magic
number is 3. NAND and eMMC probably have their own special magic
numbers too.
Currently the corrupted byte is a part of one of the instructions in
the reset vectors table:

In practice this does not cause any visible problems, but it's still
better to fix it. As a bonus, the reported boot media type can be
later used in the 'spl_boot_device' function, but this is out of
the scope of this patch.

The Allwinner A64 SoC is used in the Pine64. This patch adds
all bits necessary to compile U-Boot for it running in AArch64
mode.
Unfortunately SPL is not ready yet due to legal problems, so
we need to boot using the binary boot0 for now.

There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are
still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this.
Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration:

Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure

image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can
be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot
and SPL.
Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing.

SY8106A is a PMIC which is used on the Allwinner
H3 Orange Pi Pc and Plus board. The VOUT1_SEL register is
implemented to set the default V-CPU voltage to 1200 mV.
This driver is required to ensure the SY8106A V-CPU
voltage is set to 1200 mV after a software reset. On cold
boot the default SY8106A output voltage is selected to be
1200 mV by a pair of resistors on the Orange Pi PC and Plus.

Some sunxi-based boards (such as the Olimex A20-SOM-EVB) have a
second MMC socket. This socket is not bootable hardware-wise,
i.e. u-boot itself cannot be loaded from it, but once u-boot has
started, the second socket can be used in the boot process
provided by config_distro_bootcmd.h.
If a second MMC socket is present, place it in the boot order
after the first MMC socket.

The DFU protocol implementation in U-Boot is much faster than the
FEL protocol implementation in the boot ROM on Allwinner devices.
Using DFU instead of FEL improves the USB transfer speed from
500-900 KB/s to 3.2-3.7 MB/s. This is particularly useful for
reducing the time needed for booting systems with large initrd
images.
FEL is still useful for loading the U-Boot bootloader and a boot
script, which may then activate DFU in the following way:
setenv dfu_alt_info ${dfu_alt_info_ram}
dfu 0 ram 0
bootm ${kernel_addr_r} ${ramdisk_addr_r} ${fdt_addr_r}
The rest of the files can be transferred to the device using the
"dfu-util" tool.

We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e.
all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC,
which have not supported Generic Board framework yet.
Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro
defines in include/configs/*.h.

When using the fastboot boot command, the image sent to U-Boot will be an
Android boot image. If the support is missing, that obviously won't work,

Add a bootcmd_sunxi_compat value to the default environment when building
with CONFIG_OLD_SUNXI_KERNEL_COMPAT, this way people who occasionally want
to boot an old kernel can do so by simply typing "run bootcmd_sunxi_compat"
rather then needing to have 2 separate setups / sdcards for old and
new kernels.

common/dlmalloc.c is quite big, both in .text and .data usage. E.g. for a
Mele_M9 sun6i board build this reduces .text from 0x4214 to 0x3b94 bytes,
and .data from 0x54c to 0x144 bytes.

Select CONFIG_SPL_STACK_R for sunxi boards, this gives us much more
room on the stack once we've the DRAM running.
Besides being a good change to have on itself, this also paves the
way for switching to using malloc_simple in the SPL which cuts of
close to 4KiB of the SPL size.

This patch makes use of the previous changes to add a new "fel" boot
target for sunxi boards.
When booting via FEL, it's often desirable to work around the absence
of other (usable) boot devices - or to be able to override them,
deviating from the standard boot sequence. To achieve this, the "fel"
boot target gets the highest priority, but won't actually do anything
unless certain criteria are met.
The "bootcmd_fel" implementation proposed here first tests if an actual
FEL boot takes place (using the "fel_booted" env var), and secondly
checks that "fel_scriptaddr" was set (originating from the 'loader',
i.e. the sunxi-tools fel utility). If both checks pass, then it will
try to execute the boot script (boot.scr) at the given address. In case
of an error (e.g. an invalid image), the source command might return
"false", causing "distro_bootcmd" to proceed with the next boot target.

For the upcoming nand support we need a bigger heap, esp. ubi[fs] uses
quite a bit of memory, increase the heap size to 64 MB.
Our video code returns unused reserved framebuffer memory to the kernel
before booting it. Drop the #ifdef-ery and simply always reserve 16 MB.
Adjust bootm_size for the above changes.

Make CONFIG_SYS_NAND_U_BOOT_OFFS configurable through Kconfig, just like
SYS_NAND_BUSWIDTH_16BIT this is only enabled on some SoCs using depends,
to avoid double defining it for SoCs which have not yet moved to Kconfig
for this.
Having this in Kconfig is useful because this is something which may
differ from one board to the other even when using the same SoC.

We eventually want to add full nand support, since it makes no sense
to build SPL with nand support and u-boot without, or the other way
around, a single option will suffice.
Renaming the Kconfig option now makes things easier when we add full
nand support in the future.
The "obj-$(CONFIG_NAND_SUNXI) += sunxi_nand_spl.o" is moved to an
"ifdef CONFIG_SPL_BUILD" block in the Makefile.
