236f2ec432 treewide: Convert macro and uses of __section(foo) to __section("foo")
This commit does the same thing as Linux commit 33def8498fdd.

Use a more generic form for __section that requires quotes to avoid
complications with clang and gcc differences.

Remove the quote operator # from compiler_attributes.h __section macro.

Convert all unquoted __section(foo) uses to quoted __section("foo").
Also convert __attribute__((section("foo"))) uses to __section("foo")
even if the __attribute__ has multiple list entry forms.

401d1c4f5d common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common header
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In
a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding
another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header
files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few
cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so
remove that include.

41575d8e4c dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorter
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense
since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now
used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces
verbosity and makes it easier to read.

Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line,
thus making dtoc's job easier.

e3e2d662a2 uart: pl011: Add proper DM clock support
Even though the PL011 UART driver claims to be DM compliant, it does not
really a good job with parsing DT nodes. U-Boot seems to adhere to a
non-standard binding, either requiring to have a "skip-init" property in
the node, or to have an extra "clock" property holding the base
*frequency* value for the baud rate generator.
DTs in the U-Boot tree seem to have been hacked to match this
requirement.

The official binding does not mention any of these properties, instead
recommends a standard "clocks" property to point to the baud base clock.

Some boards use simple "fixed-clock" providers, which U-Boot readily
supports, so let's add some simple DM clock code to the PL011 driver to
learn the rate of the first clock, as described by the official binding.

These clock nodes seem to be not ready very early in the boot process,
so provide a fallback value, by re-using the already existing
CONFIG_PL011_CLOCK variable.

4687919684 serial: Remove DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in various drivers
When a driver declares DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag, it wishes to be
bound before relocation. However due to a bug in the DM core,
the flag only takes effect when devices are statically declared
via U_BOOT_DEVICE(). This bug has been fixed recently by commit
"dm: core: Respect drivers with the DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in
lists_bind_fdt()", but with the fix, it has a side effect that
all existing drivers that declared DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag will
be bound before relocation now. This may expose potential boot
failure on some boards due to insufficient memory during the
pre-relocation stage.

To mitigate this potential impact, the following changes are
implemented:

- Remove DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in the driver, if the driver
  only supports configuration from device tree (OF_CONTROL)
- Keep DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in the driver only if the device
  is statically declared via U_BOOT_DEVICE()
- Surround DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag with OF_CONTROL check, for
  drivers that support both statically declared devices and
  configuration from device tree

83d290c56f SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.

In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.

This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

a821c4af79 dm: Rename dev_addr..() functions
These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..()
prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename
the existing functions to avoid confusion.

In the end we will have:

   1. dev_read_addr...()    - works on devices, supports flat/live tree
   2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only
   3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only

All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call
either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use.

Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file.

0f9258228e of: clean up OF_CONTROL ifdef conditionals
We have flipped CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL. We have cleansing
devices, $(SPL_) and CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(), so we are ready to clear
away the ugly logic in include/fdtdec.h:

 #ifdef CONFIG_OF_CONTROL
 # if defined(CONFIG_SPL_BUILD) && !defined(SPL_OF_CONTROL)
 #  define OF_CONTROL 0
 # else
 #  define OF_CONTROL 1
 # endif
 #else
 # define OF_CONTROL 0
 #endif

Now CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(OF_CONTROL) is the substitute. It refers to
CONFIG_OF_CONTROL for U-boot proper and CONFIG_SPL_OF_CONTROL for
SPL.

Also, we no longer have to cancel CONFIG_OF_CONTROL in
include/config_uncmd_spl.h and scripts/Makefile.spl.

The driver is compiled with either the CONFIG_PL010_SERIAL or

96baa4c376 serial: pl01x: drain PL01x FIFO before baudrate change
Not draining the FIFO and waiting for the UART to be non-busy
before changing baudrate results in crap characters on the
console, so let's wait for the FIFO to drain and the last
character to be clocked out before we do that.

910f1ae3eb Serial: p1011: new vendor init options
Two new options:

CONFIG_PL011_SERIAL_RLCR

Some vendor versions of PL011 serial ports (e.g. ST-Ericsson U8500)
have separate receive and transmit line control registers. Set
this variable to initialize the extra register.

CONFIG_PL011_SERIAL_FLUSH_ON_INIT

On some platforms (e.g. U8500) U-Boot is loaded by a second stage
boot loader that has already initialized the UART. Define this
variable to flush the UART at init time.

72d5e44c95 pl01x: use C structs and readl/writel
Use C structs for registers, and use readl/writel instead of custom

249d5219c4 ARMV7: Fixed baudrate setting in pl01x driver
The pl01x serial driver was lacking the code to switch baudrates from the
command line. Fixed by simply saving the new baudrate and calling
serial_init() again. Also fixed CamelCase variables, I/O accessors and
comment style.

20c9226cb8 Merged serial_pl010.c and serial_pl011.c.
They only differ in the init function.
This also adds the missing watchdog support for the PL011.
