In free memory of gpu path, remove bo from validate_list to make sure
restore worker don't access the BO any more, then unregister bo MMU
interval notifier. Otherwise, the restore worker will crash in the
middle of validating BO user pages if MMU interval notifer is gone.

Releasing the AMDGPU BO ref directly leads to problems when BOs were
exported as DMA bufs. Releasing the GEM reference makes sure that the
AMDGPU/TTM BO is not freed too early.
Also take a GEM reference when importing BOs from DMABufs to keep
references to imported BOs balances properly.

This patch is a part of a series that extends kernel ABI to allow to pass
tagged user pointers (with the top byte set to something else other than
0x00) as syscall arguments.
In amdgpu_gem_userptr_ioctl() and amdgpu_amdkfd_gpuvm.c/init_user_pages()
an MMU notifier is set up with a (tagged) userspace pointer. The untagged
address should be used so that MMU notifiers for the untagged address get
correctly matched up with the right BO. This patch untag user pointers in
amdgpu_gem_userptr_ioctl() for the GEM case and in amdgpu_amdkfd_gpuvm_
alloc_memory_of_gpu() for the KFD case. This also makes sure that an
untagged pointer is passed to amdgpu_ttm_tt_get_user_pages(), which uses
it for vma lookups.

The scenario that defeats simply grabbing a set of shared/exclusive
fences and using them blissfully under RCU is that any of those fences
may be reallocated by a SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU fence slab cache. In this
scenario, while keeping the rcu_read_lock we need to establish that no
fence was changed in the dma_resv after a read (or full) memory barrier.

Memory used by KFD applications can contain sensitive information that
should not be leaked to other processes. The current approach to prevent
leaks is to clear VRAM at allocation time. This is not effective because
memory can be reused in other ways without being cleared. Synchronously
clearing memory on the allocation path also carries a significant
performance penalty.
Stop clearing memory at allocation time. Instead mark the memory for
wipe on release.

An upcoming change in the hmm_range_register API requires passing in
a pointer to an hmm_mirror instead of mm_struct. To access the
hmm_mirror we need pass bo instead of ttm to amdgpu_ttm_tt_get_user_pages
because mirror is part of amdgpu_mn structure, which is accessible from bo.

Restore the code that resets mem->invalid. Othewise so mapping
userptrs after they got an MMU notifiers would always be skipped.
This also avoids unnecessarily calling get_user_pages on BOs that
have not been invalidated since the last try.

We don't want eviction fences to trigger when waiting for page table
updates to complete during restore. In theory there shouldn't be any
unsignaled eviction fences in the PD reservation object, but I'm
seeing them in instrumented code for reasons not fully understood.

Under memory pressure, hmm_range_fault may return error code -ENOMEM
or -EBUSY, change pr_info to pr_debug to remove unnecessary kernel log
message because we will retry restore again.
Call get_user_pages_done if TTM get user pages failed will have
WARN_ONCE kernel calling stack dump log.

We are already doing this for DMA-buf imports and also for
amdgpu VM BOs for quite a while now.
If this doesn't run into any problems we are probably going
to stop removing BOs from the LRU altogether.

GWS bo is shared between all kfd processes. Add function to add gws
to kfd process's bo list so gws can be evicted from and restored
for process.

Userptr restore may have concurrent userptr invalidation after
hmm_vma_fault adds the range to the hmm->ranges list, needs call
hmm_vma_range_done to remove the range from hmm->ranges list first,
then reschedule the restore worker. Otherwise hmm_vma_fault will add
same range to the list, this will cause loop in the list because
range->next point to range itself.
Add function untrack_invalid_user_pages to reduce code duplication.

Use HMM helper function hmm_vma_fault() to get physical pages backing
userptr and start CPU page table update track of those pages. Then use
hmm_vma_range_done() to check if those pages are updated before
amdgpu_cs_submit for gfx or before user queues are resumed for kfd.
If userptr pages are updated, for gfx, amdgpu_cs_ioctl will restart
from scratch, for kfd, restore worker is rescheduled to retry.
HMM simplify the CPU page table concurrent update check, so remove
guptasklock, mmu_invalidations, last_set_pages fields from
amdgpu_ttm_tt struct.
HMM does not pin the page (increase page ref count), so remove related
operations like release_pages(), put_page(), mark_page_dirty().

expose mmio page of HDP registers to user space through this new

An earlier commit replaced ttm_bo_wait with amdgpu_bo_sync_wait and
removed the error return assignment to variable ret. Fix this by adding
the assignment back. Also break line to clean up checkpatch overly
long line warning.

Temporarily removing eviction fences to avoid triggering them by
accident is no longer necessary due to the fence_owner logic in
amdgpu_sync_resv.
As a result the ef_list usage of amdgpu_amdkfd_remove_eviction_fence
and amdgpu_amdkfd_add_eviction_fence are no longer needed.

This is used for interoperability between ROCm compute and graphics
APIs. It allows importing graphics driver BOs into the ROCm SVM
address space for zero-copy GPU access.
The API is split into two steps (query and import) to allow user mode
to manage the virtual address space allocation for the imported buffer.

We don't want KFD processes evicting each other over VRAM usage.
Therefore prevent overcommitting VRAM among KFD applications with
a per-GPU limit. Also leave enough room for page tables on top
of the application memory usage.

This change prepares for adding SG BOs that will be used for mapping
doorbells into GPUVM address space.
This type of BO would be mistaken for an invalid userptr BO. Improve
that check to test that it's actually a userptr BO so that SG BOs that
are still in the CPU domain can be validated and mapped correctly.

The adev parameter in amdgpu_sync_fence and amdgpu_sync_resv is only
needed for updating sync->last_vm_update. This breaks if different
adevs are passed to calls for the same sync object.
Always pass NULL for calls from KFD because sync objects used for
KFD don't belong to any particular device, and KFD doesn't need the
sync->last_vm_update fence.
This fixes kernel log warnings on multi-GPU systems after recent
changes in amdgpu_amdkfd_gpuvm_restore_process_bos.
